Springer Spaniel Rescue is a small non profit making organisation based in the North West of England and run by a handful of very experienced springer owners. We are dedicated to the welfare and re homing of Springer, Cocker and the occasional cross Spaniel. All our spaniels in need go onto our website and prospective adopters complete an application form, where the vetting process begins. They must fit our criteria to adopt, a vet reference is essential and on meeting them we must feel confident that they can provide the best home possible for our spaniels.
We re-home spaniels not by using a kennel centre but simply bringing them into our homes to be fostered, until that special home is found they stay with us. Once our springers are re homed, we continue to support the new adopters and request regular updates with photo’s. All spaniels remain under the care of Springer Spaniel Rescue for the rest of their lives, so if at any time circumstances change they must come back to us, the donation we request on adoption goes towards funding for vet fee’s, neutering, inoculation’s and illness and then we have a website, phone bills, insurance and transport and many more hidden costs involved in running our rescue.
